Plagiarism Policy

The International Journal of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Management and Technology is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all published content. The journal takes plagiarism and other forms of academic misconduct very seriously.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism involves the use of someone else’s work, ideas, or words without proper acknowledgment, whether intentionally or unintentionally. This includes:

  • Direct copying of text, figures, tables, or images without proper citation.
  • Paraphrasing significant portions of another work without appropriate attribution.
  • Self-plagiarism, where authors recycle their previously published work without proper citation or disclosure.

Policy Guidelines

  1. Originality Requirement
All submissions to the International Journal of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Management and Technology must be the original work of the authors. Manuscripts must not have been published or submitted elsewhere, either in part or in full.

  2. Plagiarism Detection Tools
The journal uses plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate) to screen all submissions for similarity to previously published works. Any manuscript exceeding acceptable similarity thresholds (typically <15%, excluding references and commonly used phrases) will be flagged for further review.

  3. Actions for Detected Plagiarism
If plagiarism is identified at any stage of the submission or publication process:

    • Minor Overlap: Authors will be asked to revise the manuscript and provide proper citations.
    • Significant Overlap: The manuscript will be rejected outright, and authors may be barred from submitting to the journal in the future.
    • Post-Publication: If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article may be retracted, and a retraction notice will be issued.
  4. Author Responsibilities

    • Authors are required to ensure their work is original and properly cite all sources used.
    • Authors must disclose any overlap with their previously published work.
  5. Reviewer and Editor Role

    • Reviewers and editors are encouraged to flag potential plagiarism during the review process.
    • The editorial board will investigate all plagiarism allegations thoroughly.
  6. Ethical Standards
The journal adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling cases of suspected plagiarism and academic misconduct.

By submitting to the International Journal of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Management and Technology, authors agree to abide by this plagiarism policy. Violations will be handled strictly to maintain the integrity of the journal and the academic community.
